Newluxury wallpaper design house 17 Patterns has released a series of strong and dynamic geometric wallpapers in its inaugural collection. Within the geometric series are Spiral Chaos, Chevron, Glitched Tweed, Dazzle and its smaller scale partner, Micro Dazzle.

Spiral Chaos by 17 Patterns’ founder Nosca Inc is a visual analysis of his chaotic yet harmonious thought processes, an internalised self-portrait.  The spiral reflects the ebb and flow of life, the up and down of tribulation and joy; while the selected colour palette demonstrates an inner spiritual utopia made tangible through cloud forms and smoky textures. Four colour palettes in peach, blue, jade and black create a geometric backdrop that is calming yet spirit-lifting.

Dazzle & Micro Dazzle – Geometric Wallpapers

In World War 1, military vessels were camouflaged in a Dazzle design to fox enemy target ranges.  The geometric pattern, and its smaller repeat MicroDazzle, by Nosca Inc has been reinterpreted over the decades for furniture, upholstery and fashion and now makes its mark for interior wallpaper in an updated and thoroughly 21st century twist.  Black and charcoal editions with bold graphics make for an original and striking background for any interior and sit especially well with the vogue for mid-century shapes and styling.
